1. Who we are

Daodri (“Daodri”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Service from the Republic of Kazakhstan and acts as the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, data request, or complaint, contact us at [email protected].

2. Scope and acceptance

This policy covers personal data we process about visitors, account holders, and people who submit information through the Service. By using the Service you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

3. Information we collect

• Account data. When you register we collect your email address, a display name, an encrypted password (we never store passwords in plain text), email-verification status, and, if you sign in through a third-party identity provider, the identifiers that provider returns.
• Project content you submit. Project and chapter titles, source documents, chapter prose and scripts, character and location descriptions, style guidance, storyboard and scene data, prompts, feedback you enter for regeneration, and the generated reference, scene, and comic-page assets produced from your inputs.
• Billing data. Credit balances, credit-ledger and usage-event records, subscription state, and the transaction metadata returned by our payment provider. Card and payment-instrument details are entered with and handled by the payment provider; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
• Public teaser / lead requests. If you use the public teaser generator or submit an interest form, we may collect your email address, a story link, a selected genre, a scene excerpt, the generated teaser brief, campaign and referrer parameters, your browser user agent, and a hashed IP value used for basic abuse throttling.
• Usage, technical, and analytics data. Log and device data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages and features used, timestamps, referring URLs, session and event identifiers, and cookies or similar technologies (see Section 8).
• Support communications. The contents of messages you send us and any information you choose to include in them.

4. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and authenticate you.
• To provide the core workflow: analyzing text into a story bible, segmenting it into scenes, building storyboards, generating reference images, rendering scenes and comic pages, regeneration, and persisting your workspace.
• To process credits, subscriptions, and payments, and to keep billing and usage records.
• To respond to support requests and send service and account notices.
• To monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service and to prevent fraud and abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. AI processing of your content

The Service is built around third-party AI language and image-generation providers. To produce the output you request, the content you submit — including chapter text, prompts, descriptions, and reference and scene images — is transmitted to and processed by these providers on our behalf. Generated assets may be stored with a hosting/storage provider to produce a shareable URL. Do not submit content you are not permitted to process through external providers. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the independent practices of these providers beyond our contractual arrangements with them; you should also review their terms.

6. Service providers and recipients

We share personal data with vendors that process it on our behalf to run the Service, under agreements that limit their use of it. These categories include:

• AI language model providers for text analysis, segmentation, and prompt generation.
• Image generation / GPU rendering providers for reference, scene, and panel rendering.
• Image hosting and panel composition providers for storing generated assets and composing comic pages.
• Payment and subscription providers for checkout, billing, and subscription management.
• Product analytics providers for usage measurement and improvement.
• Hosting, database, email, and observability providers used to operate and monitor the Service.

We may also disclose data where required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect our rights, safety, or property or those of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell your personal data.

7. International data transfers

We and our providers may process data in countries other than your own, including outside Kazakhstan and the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) where required by applicable law. By using the Service you understand that your data may be processed in these locations.

8. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functions (authentication, security, and session management) and for product analytics. Analytics help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

9. Legal bases for processing

Where data-protection law (such as the GDPR) applies, we rely on:

• Contract — to provide the Service you request and operate your account.
• Legitimate interests — to secure, improve, and promote the Service and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights.
• Consent — for non-essential analytics or marketing where required; you may withdraw it at any time.
• Legal obligation — to meet accounting, tax, and other statutory requirements.

10. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for as long as necessary to meet legal, accounting, tax, dispute-resolution, and security obligations. Billing and usage-ledger records are retained for the periods required by law. When data is no longer needed we delete or anonymize it.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Where the GDPR applies you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

13. Children

The Service is intended only for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
